Leo Jacob
Financial Advisor
I have over 25 years of banking and financial services experience that are the basis of my expertise as a Wealth Management Advisor. My financial services career started at Moody’s Corporation, Wells Fargo Capital Markets and Bank of America Securities. I’ve worked as a management consultant independently as well as for PwC serving enterprise global banking clients on projects related to risk and technology transformation.
I believe my differentiating advantage as a Financial Advisor is my deep experience across multiple financial cycles and my role as an academic, teacher, father and coach. I’ve seen a lot and am able to project that wisdom to my clients. My experience goes beyond equities, bonds and mutual funds and also includes real estate, small business lending. I have also served as a startup Executive at a San Francisco venture-backed company charged with high volume lending to small businesses. I also successfully advised companies in capital raising events that include mergers and acquisitions.
I hold an MBA from the London School of Economics. I am currently a Lecturer at the Wharton Business School teaching in classes in both Philadelphia and San Francisco. I have authored numerous articles on financial topics with a focus on credit risk and banking. I co-authored a book on Credit Risk and Technology Disruption in 2019.
I now serve clients nationally with a focus on California, New York, Philadelphia, Austin and South Florida. I am a Registered Investment Advisor with a Series 7, Series 66, with licenses in both Life and Health Insurance. My specialties as a Wealth Manager include:
• Investments, Securities, Mutual Funds, Real Estate
• Business Continuity Planning
• Insurance & Annuities
• Retirement Planning
• Licenses & Registrations: Registered Life and Health Insurance Agent, Registered Investment Advisor, and General Securities Representative.
